Melotov Records is an independent record label based in Los Angeles, CA specializing in hardcore, punk, and all the applicable sub-genres. Started by owner Melanie Voltz when she graduated high school in 2008, Melotov is now responsible for an array of releases from bands like ACxDC, THE BANNER, OLD WOUNDS, SEIZURES, ABILITIES, and CALCULATOR. Like all things LA, Melotov is a “Certified Organic, non-GMO” record label. No “filler”; we only produce music of substance and quality. With such a diverse roster, Melotov is quickly becoming a household name in the hardcore/punk community as well amongst alternative/post-punk enthusiasts, and continues to lead the charge against the dreaded pigeonhole-ing of record labels.
