This split EP brings together Thin and The Wind In The Trees two grind-adjacent sounds of their own that compliment one another to deliver 9 minutes of loud, frenzied chaos.
Thin is a 3-piece mathgrind band from New York City. The trio have developed a reputation for quick, cathartic, off-kilter compositions, with similarly chaotic and aggressive live performances. Listening to Thin is the sonic equivalent of rolling around in broken glass, and liking it. For fans of Ed Gein, Maruta, and Discordance Axis.
The Wind In The Trees is a 3-piece grind band from Baltimore made up of guitarist Dave Gill (ex-The Heads are Zeros, No Note), drummer Wade Civitarese and vocalist Brandon Winter (ex-Whenskiesaregray, Leveless). The band, which eschews a bass player in favor of a wall of amps and an octave pedal, delivers a chaotic and punishing performance that belies their minimalist lineup. For Fans of Ion Dissonance, Robinson, Sawtooth Grin.
