PROTAGONIST MUSIC
Protagonist Music is operated by Bill (Bury Me Standing, Code Of Ethics Records) and Brendan (Groundwork, Absinthe, etc) in order to document what they love, old and new, in an ever-evolving music landscape. Having spent years doing bands, labels, shows, and being otherwise involved in the scene, they began this adventure together in 2007, and it has grown to reflect their wildly diverse tastes. From the melodic (Teenage Cool Kids, Coping, Acid Fast) to screamy emo (Sed Non Satiata, Who Calls So Loud, Secret Smoker) to the heavy stuff (Zann, Great Reversals, Hexis, Black Kites) and everything in between, Protagonist Music is connecting to new energy and ideas in underground music and art.
